³² He spoke kindly to him and gave him a throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon. ³³ Then he changed out of his prison garments, dined regularly before him all the days of his life. ³⁴ As for his allowance, a regular allowance was given to him by the king of Babylon, a portion for each day until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
